Wrangell

We made it safely and on time to Wrangell. We pulled off the free and the first thing my friend Bob said to us was "why are you guys always the last ones off?" The weather in Wrangell was picture perfect - not a cloud in the sky and temps in the 70's. Dee, the Director of Anan Creek, was also there to welcome her crew. We headed over to the forest service office, unloaded our freezer, loaded up with water and fuel containers, and headed over to the Stiline Inn for dinner. Iron Man 3 is playing at the Nolan Center and we're committed to seeing every movie played thus summed, so off we'll go!

Jack will doing his first movie review a bit earlier than expected thus summer.

Tomorrow will be our orientation day with the other seasonal workers. The day starts early at 7 am.

  1. Did you tell him the reason you are always the last one off is because you are always the first one on the ferry? That is my assessment of the situation anyway! Sounds like you might be having a little different weather pattern than last summer, you've already had several gorgeous days from the looks of your photos. And Jack, I can't wait for your movie reviews........keep them coming, you film critic, you!
