We spent the morning clearing trees at various sites on the Nemo Loop road. The trees were beginning to impede the view from many of the camping areas. We are given free reign on choosing which to cut but are prohibited from cutting cedar trees - all others are fair game.
After lunch, we drive into town to pick up a table and cutlery for tonight's potluck. The weather looks as if it might cooperate. Even though it is raining, it's not the deluge that we've been experiencing the past few days.
Jack and I are house/dog sitting for the head ranger for the next week. Jack is excited about satellite TV and I'm excited about laundry and a warm shower. Last season, we dog sat for him for only two days and thought that the dog had jumped the fence after day one - only to discover after two hours of frantic searching that the neighbors had taken then home with them. Were hoping for a better experience thus time.
A plane on a flight seeing tour crashed near LeConte glacier Tuesday night. One passenger was killed and six were severely injured when their de Havilland Beaver crashed into a nearby mountain. Details on the cause of the crash have yet to be released.

You guys are too cute! Your work is definitely an improvement of the view at the Highline site. Sounds like you are having a great time so far. Keep dry! HaHa! I'm still waiting for Jack's movie review of Skyfall.........are you working on it?
