Hey everybody Jack here. So I thought that it was about time for another movie review. The latest movie that I have seen in the theater while in Alaska is World War Z. Just to let you know I am so easily scared, so watching this movie was one of the most stressful things that I have ever done. For those of you out there who love scary movies, you will love this movie. However if you don't like horror movies, stay far, far away from this movie. I spent the whole movie hiding behind my hands. Thankfully my friend Beth was there, and we were able to jump into each others laps at multiple times in the movie. The special effects in this movie were so good it was like it was real. This was disconcerting at times but added to the overall effect of the movie. So out of ten zombie hordes I would give it seven zombie hordes.

  1. Thanks, Jack! Sam and I are reading the book. Sam heard the movie is quite different from the book. We have to finish reading before we see the flick.

  2. Yay Jack!!! A movie review. Thanks to your brilliant review, I know that this a movie I can never see. I am a bit like you, in that I cannot sit through scarey movies. Occasionally I can watch a less scarey movie at home if I am able to either fast-forward or pause and take a break during especially troubling segments of the film. And even then the sound effects can be troublesome. Like you, I have trouble sleeping at night after seeing scarey movies. So thanks for the review. Now I know what not to do.
Hey - what did you think of Django? I did see that one and although it was gruesome and difficult to watch at times - I think there was only one scene that I had to completely cover my eyes and ears - it was so 'over the top' that it was absurd at times and therefore not as scarey overall. I actually liked it. It made some important points.
