Rain fell in buckets as we made our rounds this morning. I've been running the heater every morning to break the chill and to dry things out a bit.
The rain has dampened the camping spirit in Wrangell. Not only have the sites not send much use but even the road has been void of all traffic. There are usually a few trucks hauling firewood or transporting a diehard fisherman but this too has fallen off to zero.
We headed to town for a shower and dinner before the showing of "Now You See Me". It is the last movie of the summer as the Nolan Center is book for other events through mid August, by which time, we'll be long gone.
Although movie reviewing is better left to Master Jack, my rating for this cliche ridden yarn would be two evil insurance corporations out of five.....now that I think about it, make that one evil insurance corporation out of five.
I took the picture of the schooner (below) just before we entered the theater. It is owned by the founder of Netscape - an early version web browser. It makes me wonder how the inventor of Betamax is doing.
